Welcome to Wye Valley Rooms

Set in the heart of the stunning Wye Valley, just a few minutes walk from the river, Wye Valley Rooms offers guests a fabulous, flexible location to holiday. Composed of Jam Pots, an upper-level double bed apartment with full self-catering facilities, lounge, family bathroom and furnished balcony with BBQ area. On the lower level, Lambs' Cote offers an individual king-sized bedroom with en-suite shower room. Both units have their own access and can also be opened up internally to create a 2 bed-cottage.

With excellent outdoor activities on the doorstep, bikers, hikers, ramblers and even just amblers have a wealth of choice. Canoeing, kayaking and SUP are particularly well catered for, and when the river is safe there are even swim-spots to cool off in. We even have gorging, archery and axe-throwing locally, if that appeals!

Within 10 minutes walk there are 5 village pubs - make that 6 if you fancy a trip on the hand ferry to the Saracen's Head over the river. Most of the pubs sell very good food, and there's also various other restaurants all within walking distance, and many other very good country pubs a short drive away.

Only slightly further afield are the quaint towns of Monmouth (5 miles) and Ross-on-Wye (7 miles). Being set on the edge of the Forest of Dean offers lots of opportunity for indoor activities and historical insights into its industrial past, which is very evident from the endless industrial archaeology throughout the forest. There are distilleries and vineyards galore, and being home to so many apple growers, the Wye Valley Cider Route! This beautiful area really does have so much to offer for a short or extended break catering for all tastes and activity levels. It has the esteemed title of being the Birthplace of British Tourism and really does deserve that accolade.
